The idea of the TN-300 was to get rid of the hand drill of the TN-250 and make a better tool for the fabricators. By building a rigid base and tying all the components together, we were able to reduce vibration created from the holesaw itself as it went through the material.Next we changed the RPM of the holesaw bit to 233rpm. This speed seemed to give the best combination of saw life and speed of cut.Both of these changes helped make a more accurate cut and increase the life of the saws, saving time and money.The TN-300 can notch from 1/2″ to 3″ (13mm to 76mm) tube.The vice has a quick release feature so different notch angles can be set up in a second or two and locked-in with a solid taper lock. A large degree wheel for indexing the vice is also included.Operation of the TN-300 is easy. Turn it on, grab the hand wheel and rotate it toward the material. The carriage rides on a solid V-block roller assembly that pushes the holesaw into the material with limited vibration.
